TL;DR: 11/10. Super chill and fun to work with. Will be returning to Father Julio soon to get my septum.

Julio’s attention to detail and enthusiasm are off the charts. Originally booked to get my right nostril pierced, however, in the time between booking the appt and going in, I decided to go with both sides of the nose and a bridge chain. He was super accommodating, and I’m thankful he was able to squeeze in the additional work. I don’t know who was more hyped about the piercing, me or him, which is genuinely refreshing compared to previous experiences with other piercers.

First up, jewelry. Excellent selection, and pricing was more than fair. We went over the options, and most importantly, he was sure to check in on what other jewelry (and size) I might want to wear in the future since that may affect placement. This alone was a blessing since I wanted the ability to switch out the studs for small, snug hoops. Can’t thank him enough for that!

With that out of the way, he got set up and checked in to make sure I was comfortable, didn’t have any questions, and was ready to go. He legit took his time marking the placement, getting my thoughts throughout, and ensuring both sides were level and the bridge chain was the perfect length. The piercings themselves were quick and painless (well, as painless as nostril piercings can be). Again, he checked in between each side to ensure I was still good.

So, the piercings are done, the jewelry is secured, and I’m just about to get up and look at the result. Julio’s enthusiasm about the result was impossible to ignore and 100% helped calm my nerves as I walked over to the mirror to check it out for the first time. Needless to say, I absolutely love it.

Julio took his time reviewing aftercare and answering all my questions without making me feel rushed. A few days later, he checked in to make sure everything was healing well, I didn’t have any other questions, and I was still stoked about the results (I WAS). Both piercings healed up nicely without any complications.

Already looking forward to getting my septum pierced by Julio. Hands down, the absolute best experience I’ve ever had with a piercing studio.

Got my dermal done by Julio and it went great. He made sure i was comfortable throughout and his personality really helped me settle into the experience, he was very educated on materials and techniques as well as aftercare. He made sure to check in to monitor the healing process to ensure things went smoothly. Overall amazing work and a very positive down to earth guy. I will definitely go back for another piercing from him.
